Events, Dates and Street Closures
Event Permits
Event permits are required for any occasion or event, including but not limited to exhibitions, celebrations, festivals, shows, including firework displays, and any event that is not a normal function. If the applicant does not meet the city-designated deadlines required for approvals (alcohol, tents, pyrotechnics, cooking, food trucks, etc.) as outlined in the event permit application, the city may deny or cancel the event permit.
PLEASE NOTE: Events must be within city limits, co-sponsored by the city, or in support of city entities to qualify for being added to the events calendar, and must be submitted at least one week before the event date.
Community Event
Any event taking place on private property (commercial and/or residential) that requires special needs, such as amplified music, pyrotechnics, or any event requiring a road closure, such as road races, parades, and block parties. Contact the Board via email specialevents@belleislefl.gov, yquiceno@belleisefl.gov, or call City Hall at 407-851-7730.
